Nearly every design and construction project that comes through Westbrook’s front door requires some type of survey needs. Allow our staff of experienced surveyors to complete your project in a cost-effective, timely manner! ⇢ ALTA/ACSM Survey: Survey performed in accordance with the standards set by the American Land Title Associates (ALTA) and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM).
⇢ As-Built Survey: A survey locating improvements that can show recorded easements and location of improvements in relationship to the exterior boundaries of the property. ⇢ Boundary Survey (Plat of Survey): Surveys used to establish property corners and property lines. ⇢ Certified Survey Map (CSM): A map which is drafted after a property survey to divide a parcel of land into not more than 4 separate parcels and recorded at the register of deeds in the county which the survey was performed. ⇢ Construction Staking: Staking the location of improvements in the field to be used for construction including: buildings, bridges, erosion control devices, site grading, sanitary sewer, water main, roadway subgrade, curb and gutter, storm sewer, and asphalt/concrete pavement. ⇢ Subdivision Plats: Used in the creation of a number of lots in a residential, commercial or industrial development. ⇢ Topographic Survey: A detailed map that normally shows natural terrain along with existing buildings, utilities, and roads. A topographic map can be developed from field measurements or from aerial photogrammetry. ⇢ Assessors Plats: Completed when in the judgment of the governing body having jurisdiction, the description of one or more parcels of land cannot be made sufficiently certain and accurate for the purposes of assessment. ⇢ Public Land Survey System (PLSS) Re-Monumentation: Re-establishment of monuments at section corners originally set by the initial government lands into Sections. ⇢ Monitoring Survey: Analysis of structure movement during critical events such as high water, train movement, or during construction. ⇢ Flood Plain/Hydrology & Hydraulics Survey ⇢ Utility Surveys ⇢ Right-of-Way Plats and Transportation Project Plats (TPP) |
