When time is critical, Westbrook Associated Engineers Inc. (WAE) delivers fast, effective engineering solutions. In close partnership with J.F. Brennan and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, WAE helped complete vital repairs to the Demopolis Lock and Dam — a key structure along the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway, which sees over $1.5 billion in cargo annually.

WAE designed the underwater formwork and anchorage systems used by J.F. Brennan to reconstruct a damaged miter gate sill — a complex task completed under challenging submerged conditions. Thanks to this strong collaboration, the project was completed in just four months, minimizing downtime and restoring a critical piece of infrastructure.
