From
April 1990 to the
present, Nick has
worked as a Survey
Crew Chief for
Westbrook
Associated Engineers.
Currently he is in
charge of all field
surveys for
public/private works
projects, which
include:
transportation
highways and bridge
design projects,
subdivisions,
certified surveys,
section corner
restoration, and
topographic surveys.
He is also well versed
in total station and
data collector
technology.
Employed by Halverson
Surveying from May
1981 to April 1990.
Duties included
working as instrument
person for surveys,
including re-monumenting
of numerous section
corners in Iowa,
Richland, Dane,
Lafayette, Green, and
Grant County, plus
writing descriptions
and drafting of plats.
Employed by Griswold
Engineering of Bossier
City, Louisiana from
November 1979 to May
1980. Duties included
working as a rodman
and instrument person
on a survey crew
performing
construction staking
and layout, running
and establishing
vertical and
horizontal control for
route surveying,
topographic surveying
and astronomic
surveying (polaris).
