Andy Knutson, P.E., S.E.

In November 1999, Mr. Knutson joined Westbrook Associated Engineers, Inc. as a Structural Design Engineer. He was promoted to the position of Project Manager in 2002, and to Vice-President in 2008.  He also currently manages the structures department and has experience in designing temporary bridges, rating existing bridges, designing construction falsework and shoring systems, and developing repair procedures for rehabilitation of existing structures. He is familiar with all applicable structural design codes, including AASHTO Standard Specification for Highway Bridges and AASHTO Guide Specification for Bridge Temporary Works. Mr. Knutson is also an OSHA qualified person.

From 1997 to 1999, Mr. Knutson was part of the structural design team at Graef, Anhalt, Schloemer and Associates of Milwaukee, WI.  He participated in projects involving full- and partial-depth concrete removal of concrete overlays in parking structures.  Mr. Knutson was part of structural inspection team for various projects such as Milwaukee County Stadium, the GM plant in Janesville and multi-level timber structures in downtown Milwaukee.
